In Memory of Vicki

Vicki Wehmeyer passed away on January 8, 2024 due to cancer and its complications. In honor of Vicki's indelible place in the Sustainable Faith community, her family has asked us to set up a scholarship fund in Vicki's name.

Vicki was a beloved teacher and mentor to many in the School of Spiritual Direction and the founder of the School of Ignatian Spirituality. She created "An Ignatian Experience," a version of the 18th Annotation of the Ignatian Exercises, the proceeds of which she designated for scholarships for Sustainable Faith students. Both the handbook and the scholarships are legacies that will live on long after Vicki's passing, along with the many directors and teachers she trained and nurtured.

In the same spirit, your gifts to Vicki's memorial fund will help students become spiritual directors, supervisors, and Ignatian Exercises directors who will carry on Vicki's legacy of direction, teaching, and a deep love for the Trinity and the path of spiritual formation.
